Resident. Widely distributed and common in the south of England.
Rare. Just two records from the east of the county in 1996 and 2009.
Wingspan : M & F, 16-21mm.

Wherever the foodplant is found.
Various fungi and occasionally rotten wood.
Eggs are laid on larval food. Larva feeds on a variety of bracket fungi and dead wood.
