Resident. Locally common in mainland Britain as far north as Durham.
A single record taken from Commins Coch in the west of the county in 2007.
Wingspan : M & F, 12-15mm.

Wherever the foodplant is found.
Various fungi and rotten wood.
Eggs are laid on larval food. Larva feeds on fungal growths found under the bark of dead twigs and stems.
