Resident. Widespread and common in the southern half of England, spreading into Wales.
Montgomeryshire Status
First recorded in the east of the county at Roundton Hill nature
reserve in 2013, which was only the sixth record for north Wales.

Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva first forms a narrow
gallery which expands abruptly into a blotch. Pupates in a
reddish-brown cocoon on the ground. |
