An uncommon species, that has been recorded from scattered sites throughout the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 32-35mm.
A range of wet and boggy places.
Reed canary-grass and Reed sweet-grass.
Overwinters as a larva in the stem of the foodplant. Larva August-early June. Pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter or underground.
