  Habitat Broadleaf woodland, hedgerows, scrub, gardens & some urban areas. Foodplant The expanding buds & leaves of pedunculate oak (and probably sessile oak). Lifestage data Overwinters as egg (laid in small batches on foodplant). Larva Apr-June. Then pupates underground in a cocoon. |
