Marbled, Rufous and Tawny Minors and Union Rustic.

Habitat

Mainly wet and boggy places.

Foodplant

Willows and aspen.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as an egg which is laid on the twigs of the foodplant. Larva April-June, feeding at first on terminal shoots and later hiding in spun leaves during the day, emerging at night to feed.
