Quite well recorded in the west of the county and from a single site in the far east of the county.

Habitat
Pasture that adjoins mature woodland. The moth favours gorse, scrub or
bracken cover when available.

Common bent and creeping soft-grass below pedunculate oak.
Lifestage data
Overwinters as a small larva amongst the grasses. Larva August-May.
Pupates in a cocoon just below the soil. |
