  Habitat Grassland in open country, moorland and downland. Foodplant Hard grasses including, mat-grass, sheep's-fescue and purple moor-grass. Also found on sedges and rushes. Lifestage data Overwinters as eggs which are scattered over grassland by female when in flight. Larva March-June. |
