A 'Nationally Scarce B' species. Only recorded three times in the county (all old data). No specific year was given with any of the recorder information.
Wingspan : M & F, 43-52mm.
Grey Arches and Pale Shining Brown.
Heathland with scrub, moorland, river valleys and open woodland.
Birch, sallow and bog myrtle.
Overwinters as a small larva. Larva late July-May. Pupates underground.
