  Habitat Wide range of grassland, but not at high altitude. Foodplant Mainly grasses, but also recorded on plantains and cleavers. Lifestage data Overwinters as a larva. Larva Sept-Apr, feed mainly at night. Forms a cocoon in the soil but does not change into a pupa for c.6 weeks. |
