A fairly common species that is found only in the western half of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 28-36mm.
Broadleaved woodland and conifer plantations.
Lichens and green algae growing on trees.
Overwinters as a pupa in a cocoon formed in the debris. Larva August-October.
