A locally common species mainly found in the far west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 25-33mm.
Broadleaved woodland, wooded heathland and hedgerows.
Lichens on trees.
Overwinters as a larva. Larva August-late May. Pupates in a hairy cocoon.
