Resident. Common S,C(N).
A locally common species that seems to have a stronghold in the extreme west and extreme east of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 20-22mm.
Fens, marshes and other wet places.
Overwinters as a small larva. Larva late August-May. Pupates in a cocoon amongst vegetation on or near the ground.
