A common species, found throughout the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 22-34mm.
Common White Wave.
Woodland, carr and wet sites.
Goat willow, grey willow, poplars and sallows.
Overwinters as a pupa amongst the debris on the soil. Larva late June-October.
