A common species, found throughout the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 32-35mm.
Common Wave and Grass Wave.
Woodland and scrub.
Downy birch, silver birch, alder and sallows.
Overwinters as a pupa amongst the debris on the soil. Larva late June-October.
