  Habitat Woodland, hedgerows, parkland, some gardens and scrub. Foodplant Oak, elm, beech, birch, hawthorn and blackthorn. Lifestage data Overwinters as an egg on the foodplant. Larva early May-mid July. Pupates amongst leaves of the foodplant. |
