Resident and suspected migrant. Common S,C,N.
A scarce species with only eight records in the data base. Last recorded in 2011 at Cors Dyfi in the far west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 26-32mm.
Mostly associated with lucerne crops and to a lesser extent found in many other habitats.
Clovers trefoils and lucerne.
Overwinters as a pupa underground. Larva June-July and mid August-September.
