Wingspan :  M & F, 22-26mm.

Habitat

Damp broadleaf woodland and other wet and marshy places.

Foodplant

Sallows.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as a pupa in plant debris. Larva mid June-mid July and mid August-mid September.
