A common species, found throughout the county. Probably the best known of all the Pug species.
Wingspan : M & F, 15-19mm.
The flowers of many plants including gorse, holly, ivy, broom, heather, rowan and roses.
Overwinters as a pupa in plant debris. Larva May-late October.
