Very rarely recorded. In recent times found only the extreme west and in the eastern side of the county.

Wingspan :  M & F, 20-24mm.

Habitat

Coastal saltmarsh, open areas in woodland, scrub, hedgerows and gardens.

Foodplant

Low growing herbaceous plants.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as a pupa in a loose soil. Larva late May-late October.
