|1821 ~ Valerian Pug ~ Eupithecia valerianata|
First recorded in 2014 at Commins Coch in the far west of the county. It would seem that this species has been previously overlooked in the county and is likely to occur most places with rank vegetation and that has its foodplant.
Wingspan : M & F, 15-18mm.
Common Pug and Lead-coloured Pug.
Seems to occur in a variety of habitats, but especially damper places.
Overwinters as a pupa, in the debris on the ground. Larva, July-mid August.
