Montgomeryshire Status

Found along the western side of the county. This species has not been commonly recorded but this is probably due to it's upland habitat.

Wingspan :  M & F, 32-41mm.

Mountains and Moorland.

Foodplant

Heathers and bilberry.

Lifestage data

Overwinters as a small larva. Larva July or August-late May or June. Pupates in a cocoon.
