  Habitat Woodland, heathland, grassland, hedgerows and gardens. Foodplant Downy birch, silver birch, hazel, alder and beech. Lifestage data Overwinters as a small larva attached to a silk pad on a twig. Larva July-June. Pupates in the leaf litter. |
