An fairly uncommon species, but it has been recorded mainly in the eastern half and from other scattered sites from across the county.

Wingspan :  M & F, 36-44mm.

Most habitats.

Aspen and poplars.

Lifestage data

The larva hides during the day between two flatly spun leaves. Larva mid July-September. Overwinters as a pupa in a flimsy cocoon formed in the leaves of the foodplant.
